Association bylaws

Eğitim Teknoloji ve Oyun Derneği

Article 1: Name and headquarters

The association is named "Eğitim Teknoloji ve Oyun Derneği". Headquarters: İzmir, Türkiye. The association may open branches domestically and abroad.

Article 2: Purpose

The purpose of the Education, Technology and Games Association is to carry out work that benefits society in education, technology and games; support scientific research in these fields; promote technology- and play-based approaches in teaching and learning; raise awareness of digital and media literacy; run inclusive programmes for children, youth and adults; and develop and implement projects at national and international level.

Article 3: Fields of activity

To achieve its aims, the association:

  1. Conducts and supports research in education, technology and games.
  2. Organises training programmes, courses, seminars, conferences, workshops and competitions on technology in education and play-based learning.
  3. Runs awareness activities on digital literacy, media literacy, information security and ethical internet use.
  4. Develops and promotes educational games, applications and content for children and youth.
  5. Offers professional development for educators on technology- and play-based teaching methods.
  6. Develops and implements projects to improve access to educational technology for disadvantaged groups.
  7. Cooperates with national and international organisations on joint projects and exchange programmes.
  8. Publishes materials and builds websites and digital platforms related to its aims.
  9. May acquire, sell, lease and create real rights on movable and immovable property as required for its aims.
  10. May collect donations and accept conditional or unconditional legacies in line with applicable law.
  11. May establish facilities needed for its activities.
  12. May conduct fundraising and accept donations from home and abroad where permitted.
  13. May establish and operate economic, commercial and industrial enterprises to secure income needed to fulfil its bylaws.

The organs of the association are:
1. General Assembly
2. Board of Directors
3. Supervisory Board
